Website terms only. These are starting terms for the corporate website. Final rider and driver service agreements require confirmation and legal review before the public Ride service launches.
1. Website operator and scope
This website is operated by RIDE MOBILITY TECHNOLOGY PTY LTD, trading and branding as Ride, in Australia. These terms describe the use of Ride’s public corporate website at ridemobility.com.au.
Ride is preparing to launch a rideshare and mobility platform initially in Melbourne, Victoria. This website does not provide ride bookings, take payments, create service accounts or approve drivers. These website terms do not form a ride booking contract or a driver participation agreement.
2. Information about the planned service
Descriptions of the planned rider and driver experience explain our current intentions. Features, service areas, launch dates, eligibility criteria and commercial arrangements are subject to confirmation. A statement of intent is not a guarantee of availability, acceptance, trip volume, price or earnings.
When the public service becomes available, the relevant service terms and information will be provided before use. Do not rely on this website as confirmation of a regulatory licence, an insurance arrangement or authority to provide commercial passenger trips.
3. Using the website
Please use the website lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, introduce harmful code, impersonate Ride or another person, or use the website for fraudulent or unlawful activity.
The website can be viewed without creating an account. If you send an enquiry, please provide information relevant to your request and do not send passwords, full payment details or unnecessary sensitive documents.
4. Content and brand
Website content and Ride branding belong to Ride or the relevant rights holder. You may read, link to and refer to the public pages. Do not misrepresent affiliation with Ride or reuse branding in a way that suggests an endorsement without permission. Rights permitted by applicable law are not restricted by this paragraph.
For a request to use Ride’s brand or content, contact the support email.
5. Enquiries and expressions of interest
Public enquiries and driver expressions of interest can be sent to support@ridemobility.com.au. An expression of interest is not a completed application, approval, employment offer or guarantee of participation. No fees or charges are collected by this website.
Our support email is not an emergency service. In immediate danger or an emergency, call Triple Zero (000). Live-service support procedures and availability will be confirmed before launch.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains current website and enquiry handling and identifies information practices to be confirmed for the planned service. Please read it before sending personal information.
7. External links and availability
We may link to official external guidance. External websites are operated by their respective organisations; their own terms and policies apply. A reference to external guidance does not imply an endorsement of Ride by that organisation.
We aim to keep the website useful and current, but information may change and access may occasionally be interrupted. Please check current official guidance where a legal or regulatory requirement is relevant.
8. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law where applicable.
This starting website policy does not introduce broad liability waivers or unconfirmed fare, cancellation, refund or insurance terms. Those matters require service-specific drafting and legal review before launch.
9. Updates and questions
We may update these website terms as the website changes. The current text and its update date will remain available at /terms. Changes to any future service contract will be addressed through the applicable agreement and notice process.
For questions about these terms, contact support@ridemobility.com.au.
10. Before the public service launches
Service terms require professional review
Before ride bookings or formal driver onboarding begin, Ride must confirm and publish the applicable contracts and policies. Matters for legal review include:
- The roles and responsibilities of Ride, riders and drivers, and when any booking or driver contract is formed.
- Eligibility, vehicle and regulatory obligations, onboarding and ongoing checks.
- Fare presentation, payment authorisation, applicable fees, cancellations, refunds and disputes.
- Driver commercial arrangements, payments, tax responsibilities and the legal nature of the relationship.
- Insurance arrangements, safety procedures, complaints, accessibility and account suspension or termination.
- Applicable consumer rights, liability provisions, governing law and dispute resolution.
No particular commercial or regulatory term is established by this review list.
